I am Dr. Jessica Heine, a psychologist and systemic therapist based in Hannover, Germany. I work with individuals, couples, families and professionals in English and German, online throughout Germany or in person in Hannover.

How I can support you
"Systemic" means looking not only at a single problem but at the relationships and contexts you live in: family, partnership and work.
Systemic therapy
Psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, sleep problems and life crises. Usually weekly sessions of 50 to 90 minutes.
Systemic counselling
Support with decisions, conflicts and new directions when no mental illness is in the foreground.
Couples and family therapy
A protected space where every voice is heard, for couples, families or individual family members.
Supervision for professionals
Individual, team and case supervision for professionals in therapy, counselling, care and social work.
Coaching
Clarity and self-efficacy for new directions, decisions and stress, when therapy is not needed.
Online sessions
Sessions via video or phone throughout Germany, also at short notice. For video you only need a device with a camera and a quiet room.
Online, by phone or in person
Most sessions take place online via video or by phone. For in-person appointments I am flexible and not tied to one place. Together we will find a setting that suits you.
Fees
All services are self-pay. We discuss the fee in a personal conversation. Whether your health insurance reimburses costs under the German fee schedule for Heilpraktiker (GebüH) should be clarified with your insurer in advance. Please cancel appointments at least 48 hours in advance.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in psychology and medicine (Dr. rer. medic.), Friedrich Schiller University Jena
- Psychologist (B.Sc. and M.Sc.), focus on clinical and work psychology
- Licensed to practise psychotherapy under the German Heilpraktiker Act (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie)
- Certified systemic therapist (DGSF, SG)
- Research on the effects of psychotherapy since 2013
